ELMHURST – Treat yourself to dozens of delicious dishes prepared by the western suburbs’ most celebrated chefs at the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild’s Chef Fest 2010. This annual culinary event takes place on Thursday, March 25, at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace, from 5:30 – 9 p.m., with proceeds benefiting Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare projects and programs.
Currently, 30 chefs from local restaurants, bakeries and caterers will be generously providing the food for this annual fundraising event. “We are thrilled to celebrate our 10th year with such wonderful support from these chefs,” said Byron Spencer, Co-Chairman of the 2010 Chef Fest. “Thanks to them, this event grows larger every year.”
Sarah Diamond, Co-Chairman, echoed this, noting, “Chef Fest has become an annual tradition for so many people. This event provides a unique opportunity for attendees to enjoy their favorite area restaurants, try new ones and at the same time support Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare.”
The evening will also include a cash raffle and cookbook sale. A donation of $60 per person is required. Tables of 10 for $600 are available in advance; individual tickets may be purchased at the door. To purchase tickets for Chef Fest, or for more information, please call Carol Finan at (630) 832-4972.
