ELMHURST — Who doesn't like to eat out every now and then? The question is can you eat a heart healthy meal at your favorite restaurant. The answer is yes. Now, let Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare (EMHC) show you how.

In celebration of American Heart Month, EMHC has partnered with local restaurants to offer you the opportunity to enjoy a heart-healthy three-course meal for only $20 per person.

The dinner series continues on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at Venuti's Ristorante in Addison. This is the only one of the four dinners with seats still available. The dinner will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Venuti's Ristorante (2251 W. Lake St., Addison).

An EMHC dietitian will be there to introduce each course and give you tips on how to order a heart-healthy meal anywhere. In addition, Daniel Sullivan, M.D., a cardiologist from Midwest Heart Specialists, will speak about overall heart health and the heart scan available at EMHC. Finally, you'll hear from a patient who had a heart scan and how it impacted their life.

Registration and pre-payment are required by calling CareMatch at (630) 782-7878. For more information, please visit the Classes & Events section of our Web site.
