A Vision for the Future

A New Campus. A New Frontier in Healthcare.

The new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital will do more than heal bodies; it will renew spirits and energize souls. It will build upon more than eight decades of exemplary service to our communities...of established clinical excellence...of the finest, most compassionate care.

It will redefine what a hospital should be.

When complete in summer 2011, the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital will be an ideal blend of the practical and the beautiful. Every inch of the facility will be carefully crafted to promote medical efficiency and effectiveness in an aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-navigate environment.

The existing Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health/William and Carol Parrillo Building, with its outpatient services and physician offices, will anchor the east side of the campus. The new acute care Hospital, with its 259 private inpatient suites, will occupy the west side of the campus. Two medical office buildings will border the east and west sides of the Hospital, and corridors will enable you to move easily among all of the buildings for office visits, diagnostic tests and inpatient care.

We designed the entire campus with the future in mind. It will easily accommodate changes in healthcare that we cannot predict, thus ensuring that the Hospital will be as functional 50 years from now as it will be on opening day.
